This is what my bathroom looked like when I moved in:
Yeah. Gross. And you don’t even get to see the wood screen they had on top of that half-wall thing there by the toilet. I had to take it down first thing when I moved in.
This is what my bathroom looked like this morning and for the last four+ years (after partial renovations to make it habitable):

Better…way better. Anything’s got to be better than that ugly goldish-yellow toilet and that awful light fixture and that random wall between the toilet and the vanity and that nasty asbestos tile. But not good yet.
This is what my bathroom looks like now:
Demolition for stage II mostly complete. I’m still taking out that medicine cabinet. Now to tiling the countertop and backsplash with slate, installing the sink and new faucet, putting up a new mirror and medicine cabinet, and repainting the vanity.
Stay tuned to see what it will look in the near future. Near being relative of course as my last post was (cough, cough) three months ago. Maybe in another four years I’ll get to stage III: new tub and surround.
